Hello. I have been in Los Angeles for the past 3 days. I saw Van Gogh's "Irises", the "Hollywood" sign, more hispanic folks than there are in all of Seattle, and a house with 30 foot flames coming out of it. And my family.

Washing your hands in the tap water is kind of a zero sum game. The more water you use to wash the dirt off your hands, the more crap the water deposits on you.

My guess is, someone put an unrequited hug counter on their page.
Unrequited hugs! I never even thought about that. what if someone gross hugs you? there's no way to reject hugs!! aaagh

I get this image of electric company guys in hard hats and jumpsuits and bandanas and Juvenile-esque platinum fronts.

I go to school in Wisconsin, and trust me... No matter how bad the water is in LA, it's definitely not drinkable around here. They've got fish in this here Lake Michigan that swim on the surface of the water (aka -- they're freaking dead as nails). Ewwwwww....

I'm flabbergasted that anyone at all wants to help me buy food. I'm not going to turn down any ramen or oatmeal, though. Direct drops of ramen and/or oatmeal on my doorstep are welcome, though a container is appreciated. (scooping up piles of oatmeal off the doorstep is time consuming and cold) Enjoy the *sauce*!

I am more of a YIM person. I can't communicate without offline messages, you see. I do have an AIM sn but I never use it. It is xxxAxSxDxxxx. That's why I never use it.

Flgx! I was in LA at an intersecting time. If only I had checked the pulse of my LJ while in LA we could have had some LOLs. And I opted for Disneyland instead of Van Gogh. They done up the Haunted Mansion just like in that Nightmare Before Christmas movie story.
