I'd better check livejournal - something really interesting might've happened while I was out getting groceries. If only there were some kind of web to phone gateway that could call my cell when one of my friends updated.

If you just change your livejournal email address to your cell phone's email address, I'm sure you could get your email notification thingies. Maybe you could use like avantgo or something to make yourself an andr00's friends channel.

Alternatively, you could hire someone to watch your friends list and just call you up and read everything to you... then there'd be no risk of missing anything.
