I hate it when I sleep on my hair funny and the end of the braid gets a 90 degree kink in it so it sticks straight out off my back.

Does your braid ever give you headaches? I can only wear my hair pulled back for certain amounts of time before it makes my head hurt. I guess you'd be used to it by now, though.

Also, how attached to your braid are you? If someone ever crept up on you whilst sleeping and snipped, how mad would you be?

(Don't ask what made me think of this! I am just curious, because some people are all "DON'T TOUCH MY HAIR" and others are like, "Okay, haircut.")

Before I could braid it, I had it just plain pulled back, and when it was just barely not long enough to really tie it used to develop sore spots where it was pulling my hair. Now, though, it's pretty loose. I have some long freaking hair.

If someone cut it? I actually thought about this on the bus, which is as close as I normally get to people who might just randomly cut off a strangers braid. I guess if there were enough left where I didn't have to grow it through the "baseball hat" stage I'd be just mildly perturbed. I mean, I have sisters; I grew up with people giving me cornrows and stuff. I'm used to having my hair messed with.
