Bacon, as per usual
So, there's nothing to eat in here but bacon. Time for: DAIRY MISSION TO SAFEWAY.
Actually, I am fictionalizing for dramatic effect. The dairy mission already happened. In fact, that was a FRAME for the EXCITING TALE I AM ABOUT TO TELL.

early morning, January 2003 - The pigeons are still groggy. Their nearly empty heads swivel in unison as a dark figure bagged in gore-tex drifts near - the GUY WHO IS GETTING MILK SO HE CAN MAKE SOME DAMN PANCAKES!!!

Really, the most interesting thing that happened on the way to Safeway was that a swarm of pigeons at TT Minor school spontaneously decided to flee, pooping everywhere. Stupid cloud of avian paranoia. This would be a typical boringday morning.

Would those be Snoqualmie Falls Lodge pancakes? I'm envious. With real maple syrup?

Nope! These are plain old homemade pancakes. I ran out of mix a month or so back.

Oh wait, there was one other thing during my trip of note, though it, too, is not exciting. I saw a sign that said "Northwest's best handdipped chocolates" out of the corner of my eye, and thought it said "best handicapped chocolates".

How domestic. Do you have the syrup? Did you stock up on your last trip north?

Actually, I did. I got this enormous jug of maple at leaf mart or secureway or whatever grocery store you guys have up there. It sustains me through lean times.
