On the one hand people are kind of inexplicable and fucked up and sometimes cruel.
On the other hand, if you're in the kitchen, it's reasonable to assume you're prepared to take heat.
Except in this case, the things that emit "heat" are also "chefs" in the "kitchen" and you're kind of one of them. Duh metaphor.
I freaked out during my interview, but I think a little bit of what I really wanted to say got through. They had me write perl over the phone. I left out a quotation mark. Think unsexy thoughts!
