I sure am learning a lot about webserver tuning! Not even really "tuning" in the sense of tweaking mystical variables for maximum throughput. Just, like, configuring it to avoid complete disaster. I have my very own traffic load generator! I'm not sure, but I think tomorrow when peak traffic hits, there won't be a bottleneck. Either that, or the CPU will catch on fire.
Yesterday and the day before, the access log shows "hugs" programs getting a total of 960,493 hits. That's more than all of my personal websites, together, get in 20 months (including separate hits on single pixel gifs, etc). go P-II 300!
