Wow.
"ljdrama.org" is back up, so I poked around to see what it was about. It's sort of a directory of a particular kind of livejournal interaction: the one where pooling bile leaks through hugs and vagaries and someone posts something specific and negative about someone else. Hundreds of comments, cross-journal arguments, pasted-in logs of instant messenger chats... the drama goes on and on. There's usually a part where the two sides argue back and forth over whose opinion is being suppressed and the first amendment gets trotted out (not sure why. none of them are government agents) Then maybe some wity repartee where one or both sides play "guessing at deconstruction" in an attempt to prove, logically and rationally, that the other side sucks and is wrong.
Then there's a part where everyone busts both elbows patting themselves on the back.
I thought speicus' "cheap melodrama of the day" was kind of a funny project, but jeez. I can't handle this much at once, it's seriously toxic.
