Start The Day With Corn Violence
I was thinking about how wacky it is to criticize things using irrelevant metrics (i.e. "This music is bad because the CD cover is a color I don't like.") and so I decided to become a fiesty know-nothing critic. Not a music critic, or god forbid an art critic. Something REALLY goofy. I would be a LIVEJOURNAL critic!
But then it turns out it's TOO LATE TO BE FUNNY.
I'm having trouble finding many bad reviews, so maybe it's more like one of those www award things where everyone's a winner than it is a guide to journal quality. On the other hand, one of the lowest rated journals on there is the only one I've seen reviewed which I find interesting. Maybe I should try to find more journals with poor ratings.
Or! start my own review categories! With useful metrics like pretense, drama, angst, and poetics! Many more I'm sure!
I wonder what kind of people would be LJ critics? Well, there's ME, who wanted to be one because it seemed new and funny at the time. Of course, I ALREADY flaked out on it, so there must be a cadre of dedicated reviewy people out there.
