I liked this thing Alan wrote. He said: sometimes when i see someone who annoys me because of the way they talk or the things they talk about or the way they dress or the way they look, or whatever, instead of getting annoyed i say to myself, hey, just let them get away with it. let everyone get away with everything. and i do, and it seems to help.

Contrarily, my philosophy of late has been "unsubscribe".

i try to make their heads explode with my mind.
failing that, i lower the bar and try to give them a headache by force of will.
oddly satisfying that.

feel the rage build up inside your skull, 'til blood vessels start bulging out of your head, ready to burst. then, track down the responsible party and kill them in a painful, painful way. then, you will feel better.
