Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
What's a CD I have that no one on my friends list does? How about "In Parts Assembled Solely", Spahn Ranch (and friends) This is one of two spahn ranch CDs that whoever stole all the CDs out of my car actually PUT BACK IN MY CAR after removing all the CDs from the changer. I guess it was too scary for em. That's good, because it's hard to find and I love the version of Vortex on it. That could be my theme song that plays whenever I am driving somewhere too fast.

What's a book I have that no one on my friends list does? Let's see.. I would guess that none of you havvvve.... The Mask of Sanity, by Hervey Cleckley. I found this just sitting there on the shelf at Border's, like any old ordinary book. I'm thinking it was a special order that someone never picked up. Anyway I ran off gleefully with it, so now I have a hardcover copy of the mask of sanity. Oh, it's about psychopaths, or whatever they're calling them these days. Kind of the original book about em, really.

What's aaaa.. MOVIE I have that none a you have? Gee. I'm not like some kind of big movie collector. I have very few movies. Fist of Legend? Naw, someone probably has that. Probably fuckin jay. How about.. Tron? Nope. Someone else has that. Uh... oh. SRL videos. Yeah, probably none of you have "A Bitter Message of Hopeless Grief" on VHS, do ya? [info]javina would, but she gave it to me! Unless she got another one, I mean. Hrm. Thanks J! You saved my meme!

Name a place I've visited that no one else on the list has? Oh, that's easy. Buda Castle. Where's that? It's in Budapest. What country is Budapest in? Hungary. But you didn't know that because none of you have BEEN there. WHAT. Hehehehehe.

Know what I did this week that nobody else on my friends list did? I got converted from being a contractor to a permanent employee. I AM AUTHENTIC. Of course, I took a staggering pay cut, but I gained a bunch of great benefits, and my employer will probably put up with me if I decide to go to classes some of the time. I - LOVE - THIS - COMPANY YEAHHAHH

Congratulations on your shift from lowly temporary being to exalted permanency. I notice a correlation between this status change and the frequency with which you are posting to live journal. Coincidence? Or are you starting to slack off now that you've gained some job security?

My dad used to have an old chev in our drive way, when we lived in a not so wealthy part of neighbourhood, when i was a kid.

And he used to just leave the doors unlocked, so people wouldnt break the windows to steal stuff,
but they always left our glove box open and had rummaged through the tapes.
But all there was were Rush, Pink Floyd and maybe the odd disney movie soundtrack, so they never stole a thing.

Personally, I think Rush and Pink floyd are wonderful, but some people have different taste.

Yes, but thinking back to where I lived, 90% of the people blasted gangster music, so I dont think they even knew who rush or pink floyd were

Well, I was there 2 weekends ago (:

I went for the function demoparty, http://function.intro.hu ...

Which would be an introduction to the demoscene, which could be interesting for you to explore (:

Rats! And here I was thinking it was far enough away from the coast that it wouldn't be within typical truck-range. Well, I've been to a lot of places in Buda and Pest, but it would be lame to keep trying those until I found one you missed. Also, I don't want to resort to bizarre or overly specific places (The southeast corner of Windward Mall, Oahu, HI!) sooo..I will switch it to Monument Valley Navajo Tribal Park! No wait, dammit, [info]autosloth was with me. Um.. my little brother is on my friend's list, so anywhere my family has been is out. KDarr is really messing it up for me, too.

So it's gonna have to be Chico, CA. Not an extremely pretty place, but unique! I was there without friendly company, so that's my place and I'm sticking with it.

Um...

So when I was in the first grade, we lived in Camino, near Placerville... and ... my great-great-uncle was the first white baby born at Sutter's Mill... and... um... hi, I've been to Chico, too.

I haven't been to Hawaii (:

I haven't been to Canada, either.

Or China.
