I got a watch for running. Because it is hard to operate small controls when running, there is a single huge button on the face, which you push to mark laps, or start the timer. OR, to change to your second time zone. That sounds useful, sure. What time zone is it set to right now? Well, here in Seattle, PDT, it's Tuesday the 5th, 4:55 pm. (Yup, I'm posting from work). In second time zone it appears to be 6:32 pm on SATURDAY, JANUARY 19TH. What the hell time zone is six thousand two hundred and thirty eight hours behind this one? WFT?[1]

On the other hand, I haven't really read the manual yet, so maybe that button doesn't do what I think it does. It's for people who just want to know what day and time it was 374,303 minutes ago.

oh. maybe it's venus time. Since women are from venus. Ohhh, this might be the key. The rosetta stone to understand why they take a *expletive deleted* hour to put on a pair of pants.

Well, it might make my butt look big. And what if the pants don't match the shirt. Then we have to change our shirt. And then, maybe the bra doesn't go. So then we have to change that. And then the underwear has to match the bra. It goes on and on and on.

Fortunately, I'm not one of these women.

Honey, no pair of pants can make a butt look bigger or smaller by any quantitative amount. Conservation of mass dictates as much. If your butt looks big, you have a big butt.

(not for you, but all the butt obsessed women in the world)

You'd be surprised about the pants/butt factor.

Meh. Illusions. horizontal lines look slimming blah blah blah.

While all men get lumped into a group of knuckle draggers who only look at tits. So who is the one noticing your butt? I honestly think men don't notice s difference. at least the straight ones. I don't. Course, I don't care much about a woman's back end.

Wow. this conversation took a left turn, huh?

I think women don't do it for men anyway. I think they do it for other women, which seems silly.

Yeah, I know.

I totally agree with you. Sadly, when *I* say it, people think I'm 1. crazy or 2. dirty, because I tend to point out the slight bit of... I don't want to say lesbianism... but Doing things so people of the same sex notice you, or whatever. I don't know what you'd call it. But men don't do it. at least as often

Ahahaha! I LIKE that WFT...I was trying to figure it out as I read, but thankfully, you had the mercy to explain it at the end...or I would have been going around all day tomorrow trying to figure out for the letters WFT stood ..your 'watch' sounds interesting. Peace, CJ

Well I was trying to make a new Time Zone, since they're all like MST and GMT and something something T. But then also, when chatting with online types, I use "WFT" because it looks more perplexed than plain old "WTF". Yes, my sense of humor consists mostly of inside jokes to myself. Sorry, everyone else!

Ok, I'm going to go against the general theme of commenting here and post sensibleness.

Maybe - you're supposed to set that time to a certain time zone.

So maybe if you're on holiday or working out of country, you can be running along in the morning, and then you can push the button to see what time it is back at home.

Or you can set the time to someone elses. Maybe your partner or a family member lives in a different timezone and you'd quite like to know that when you're awake running at 6am, they're already half the day ahead.

Really? You don't think I should just set it a couple hundred days in the past? Because I can, you know. And any odd number of minutes off current time.

I've had time zone watches before, and pretty much every time zone is between zero and 12 hours off of GMT, there's no reason to be able to set it more than that forward or back. Or even to be able to set, say, the minutes. So this one is special. and WEIRD.
