I moved Adept's guts into a new case. It was a circus. Things I discovered (that saved my ass): 1) the fan electronics from a Vantec CCB-A1C will fit into the heat sink on an Abit Siluro GeForce Ti4200, if crammed. 2) The outside of those hexagonal case screws can be grabbed by a 7/32 socket wrench. 3) The power connector and requirements for the breakout box on an Audigy 2 platinum are exactly the same as a floppy drive.
The new case is built for quiet, and now I can't tell if my computer's on. Except that livejournal client is obviously on the screen. Well, I just wanted to make sure the damn thing booted and now: immediate sleep.
