The day so far:
Biking down Union St. making a sharp right onto 14th, I heeled over so far that instead of the rear wheel, the bike was scraping around the turn on the low side pedal. Did a kind of dirt-bikey drift turn, recovered, and continued all the way to work, avoiding further accidental tricks. That pedal is ground down to the silver now, on one side. Before I left the garage I found one right pedal reflector busted into a black toothed grin (of what - safety orange reflective teeth?). I temporarily assigned blame to the bike owner that parks way too close to mine, but now I think it's just the way I drive, bike, or pretty much ricochet all the way to work.
I'm sure there was something else notable, but I can't remember what the details are. I was all confused about donuts this morning, but I don't really want to talk about that. Yes, it is easy to lead my brain astray on Monday morning before caffeine.
